This afternoon, River City Wrestling presented Road to Justice at the Salvation Army Centre on the corner of Logan and Lizzie. Here are the results of the event.
Opening Match: The Great Pepito vs. Jay Walker - Pepito said that he was not going to start the match until Walker kisses his royal feet (reminds me of someone else I know who used those exact same words folks). Walker tripped up Pepito and went to work on him outside the ring. Back in the ring, The Great One choked Walker with his boot and delivered a hard right. Walker got his head rammed but he recovered with a bodyslam and a top rope elbow for the 3 count until Pepito put his foot under the rope allowing the match to continue. When it did Walker got the win with a rollup. After the match Pepito beat down Walker.
Lord Damien Wolfstein Promo: Wolfstein says to the crowd that they were supposed to see Scott Justice here today, but he's got some sort of injury he sustained but I'll bring him out so he can address you guys. Justice comes out and says that he will not be able to wrestle today. Out comes Vinnie Valiant who claims he came here to fight and to quote Vinnie Valiant, ''I'll show you how it's done.''
Match #2 - Vinnie Valiant vs. A Mystery Opponent - Pepito brought out some masked guy to the ring to take on Valiant. Valiant tripped the masked man up twice, but the big man put him down with a hard clothesline and a bodyslam followed by a fistdrop for a 2 count. Vinnie bounced back with a crucifix and sunset flip but both times only got a 2 count. The big man bounced back with a powerbomb that Vinnie turned into a bulldog followed by a rollup and again got a 2 count. The big man tried an exclamation point but in the end, Vinnie managed to pin the big guy with his 450 Splash. After the match Pepito continued the beatdown.
Match #3 - Madman Muir vs. Prince Feurgo Jr. - 2 hard clotheslines could not take the larger Muir down as he countered Feurgo with a backbreaker and a knee to the back. A chokeslam by Muir was a 2 count. Madman put Fuergo in an armbar but the Prince quickly bounced back only to get put down again and then tossed outside the ring. Muir tried to ram the prince to the ringpost but Feurgo reversed it and Muir went crashing into the ringpost. Back inside the ring, Muir delivered a bodyslam and a sleeper but as referee Rocky Augustino raised his hand for the 3rd time, the prince bounced back with 2 elbows only to get put down again. Madman then delivered a backbreaker but got a 2. As Muir delivered a low blow to the gutt he got disqualified by Rocky Augustino thus giving the Prince the win via DQ.
Intermission: I got to talk to some of the wrestlers.
Laurence Fozzworth III Promo: Mr. Fozzworth announced that because the current General Manager Evan Everhard packed his bags and went on vacation that a new GM was running things here and that person was Lord Damien Wolfstein. Fozzworth called out Pepito saying he wants answers. Well first Pepito spoke Spanish being that he was from El Salvador. Pepito says ''So you want answers? Pepito then whacks Louis with the tennis racket.
Match #4 - Daemon Marx vs. Buddy Wiser - Wiser put Daemon in an armbar but Marx put on one of his own and delivered a kick before going back to the armbar and a footstomp. Buddy bounced back but Marx delivered a rake to the eyes. Daemon went up top but Wiser met him with a shot to the breadbasket as well as hard chops. Marx met Buddy with a knee and a gutt foot stomp. Buddy recovered with chops to the head and a hard slam but when he went up top, Marx met him with a boot, however, Wiser managed to do a sunset flip for a 2 until a double clothesline put both big men down. The match went back and forth until Marx got disqualified. When this happened out came Pepito and Madman Muir to beat up on Wiser, Vinnie Valiant and Jay Walker come out for the save thus starting the 6 man tag main event.
Match #5 - 6 Man War - Muir gets double clotheslined by both Vinnie and Buddy. Wiser misses a legdrop and gets a beatdown by the Great Pepito. Pepito got clotheslined by Buddy followed by a suplex. Walker does an elbow to the foot of Pepito. Pepito tags in Marx who clotheslines Jay. Jay gets double clotheslined by Marx and Madman. Pepito put a legmove on Walker with help from Madman. Walker recovers and tags Vinnie who was on fire before tagging Jay back in. Pepito tags Daemon who gets hard rights by Buddy. Buddy tags in Vinnie who gets chopped by Marx. The match goes back and forth until Scott Justice runs in and puts Vinnie in the Southern Cross thus setting up next week at the Salvation Army Centre.
