Before I start to write this blog, I just want to say something that has been on my mind for quite some time. In an industry where everyone wants to be real and everyone wants to do a shoot, this my friends is a shoot and I am going to be shooting from the heart.
You know after some comments I read on both the message boards and facebook this past week, I felt like I was left with no choice but to come here to my blog and get a few things off my chest.
This week, I saw some comments on the message boards that really pissed me off and I still am a little ticked. First off there was a comment made by Ernie Todd who says and I quote:
Anyway, it gets better, after a couple weeks ago and this was after I posted my results of the Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament to the message boards, some person who's calling themselves foad writes and I quote: I'm sorry, but does this guy "MasterBlogger" fall asleep in the middle of every match? He recaps the first half move-by-move-by-move, then suddenly jumps to the end. I've noticed it in all his write-ups of shows.
Well I do not fall asleep. Heck, I do a fantastic job from start to finish. Just ask some of my friends who are in the biz. Ask Madman Muir, ask Billy Blaze, ask Buddy Wiser, ask Pepito, ask Mike Mission, ask Leo London, ask Ricky Rivers heck even ask Curt Wakeman and they will all tell you I do an incredible job. Some people can be stupid at times and do not have the power to say it face to face so what do they do? They go on a message board and say it there. Well whoever this person is should not be allowed to post on the message boards. Just for some of the readers reading this, I am sorry for blowing off steam and I am not going to let it go to my head as Pepito told me
Now onto something else. Cory Diamond has been named the new booker and talent relations of RCW. I even congratulated him on facebook and he goes on to say: Were you not slamming me when Omar fired me? Pick a side. Well, I am going to pick a side when I am ready to pick a side. Speaking of Diamond I heard on Tuesday Night Heat that he accepted the challenge that was issued by Billy Blaze for August 27th but the question is, will that match be booked for that night?
Among other things, in my opinion TJ Bratt is one of the greatest promotors in Winnipeg. Just saying. His last event had over 300 people paying $15 at the door and on September 8th there will be another 300 people paying at the door. I will be down at Cowboys on September 8th for Legends & Attitudes and I will be getting my ticket at the door and I will have my clipboard and notepad with me.
Grand Master Blogger out.
