Today, River City Wrestling returned to the corner of Logan and Lizzie. Now this could be their last show there before they move on to other venues. I don't know. Here are the results of today's show brought to you by the Master Blogger. First off I don't know what the attendance record was but last I checked I counted 29.
Opening Contest - 3 Way Dance - The Calgary Brawler vs. Jay Walker vs. Nacho Slurpee - The Brawler started the match with a kick to the gutt of Nacho Slurpee followed by a bodyslam. Another kick to the gutt of Jay was followed by a suplex. Jay would recover but the Brawler cut him off with a hard chop. However, Nacho slithered into the ring behind the Brawler and put him in a sleeper. Jay dropkicked both men and did a double noggin knocker. Both Slurpee and the Brawler double suplexed Walker before Nacho did 10 punches to the Brawler. But as Slurpee went up to the top rope, Jay clipped him and dropkicked the Calgary Brawler. A flatliner by Walker to the Brawler was only a 2 count. Next, Jay went up top for an elbow but only got a 2. Finally a TKO on Slurpee was enough to win the match.
Match #2 - Damon Marx vs. La Sombra - Marx said before his match got started he prefers to wrestle to silence and tossed Sombra across the ring not once but twice. Damon then tugged on referee Rocky Augustino's beard. A collar elbow tie up into a headlock by Marx. Sombra recovered with an armdrag takedown and 3 dropkicks which took the larger Damon to the outside allowing Sombra to do a ploncha followed by a legdrop back in the ring. Marx recovered with a rake to the back and a kick to the gutt followed by a second kick as I thought he was going for a submission move. Sombra bounced back with hard chops but Damon delivered a rake to the eyes followed by a powerslam. La Sombra delivered 3 back kicks and a hurricanranna. La Sombra went up top for a five star frog splash but only got a 2. Marx clipped La Sombra int he thigh risking disqualification. After that he delivered a haymaker to referee Augustino.
Weasel's Den Segment With Laurence Fozzworth III - Today in the Weasel's Den, Wayne Stanton was the guest and Fozzworth wanted some answers. Wayne knew that he was owner of River City Wrestling and asked why he was no longer the owner. Wayne showed him the check and said the check was worthless. Fozzworth then said that he was going back to being a wrestling manager and brought out his first man. That man being Damon Marx. He then brought out his second shall we say great man. That man being The Great One.
Match #3 - Buddy Wiser vs. The Great One. - Wiser put The Great One in a headlock which the Great One countered into a headscissors. Buddy delivered a clothesline and a dropkick as well as a suplex for good measure. Wiser scoop slammed the Great One but missed with a legdrop from the top rope. This allowed the Great One to recover with a headlock. Damon Marx came out to distract Wiser but Buddy easily nailed him with a haymaker. This however, allowed Pepito to get the W. After the match both men continued the beatdown until La Sombra came out to make the save. Wiser got on the mic saying he was sick and tired of Marx running and hiding and he and La Sombra challenged both Pepito and Marx which they accepted on behalf of Mr. Fozzworth.
Intermission: several wrestlers came out to sign autographs and I went to the concession stand to get a couple canned drinks.
Scott Justice Promo: Scott says, last show the challenge was laid by Vinnie Valiant. Scott says later this afternoon Vinnie, when you look up and see the Southern Cross, you know you've tapped out.
Match #4 - Damon Marx & The Great One (with Laurence Fozzworth III) vs. Bad Boy Buddy Wiser & La Sombra - This match was made after the last match took place. Wiser and La Sombra took turns slapping and chopping the larger Marx. Marx recovered with a knee to the gutt of Wiser. The Great One received an elbow from La Sombra followed by vicious chops and a suplex for good measure but only got a 2. The Great One tags in Marx who gets a slingshot from Buddy as well as a shot to the shoulder. As Sombra tried a flying bodypress, Damon caught him with a backbreaker as well as a neckbreaker. The Great One delivered shots to the back of Sombra before tagging Damon who put on an armbar after Fozzworth choked him from the outside. The Great One delivered a spinning heel kick but La Sombra delivered one of his own before tagging Wiser who irishwhips Damon into the turnbuckle for an avalanche. In the end, a codebreaker from Marx was enough to get the win. After the match, Marx again nailed Rocky Augustino with yet another haymaker.
Match #5 - Rumble - Now originally this was supposed to be Scott Justice taking on Vinnie Valiant but Vinnie had a 10 count and he did not show so out comes Jay Walker to which Scott says ''Just what you'd expect.'' Scott puts a headlock and takes Jay down with a shoulderblock. Justice backs Walker but Jay took him down with a headscissors. As Jay went up to the top, several wrestlers came out from the back of the locker room which leads to a rumble with the winner becoming the number one contender for the RCW Title.

Scott Justice
The Weasel eliminates himself
Jay Walker
Buddy Wiser

Winner: La Sombra
When the next show will be, nobody knows
