SPW 5th Anniversary Show Results

Last night Steeltown Pro Wrestling presented its 5th Anniversary show at Casa Do Minho. Now last night was the final show for SPW or was it?

Opening Contest - In a fatal four way match, James Beaver defeated JJ Sanchez, Nacho Slurpee and Shadow Xtreme when he pinned Nacho.

Match #2 - The "Blue Eyed Idol" Tyler Colton upset the "German Juggernaut" Moses Luke with a Dragon suplex.

Match #3 - SPW Tag Team Title Match - Syko & SonofSyko retained the SPW Tag Team Championships defeating the team of "Hotshot" Danny Duggan & the returning "Wild Child" Jerin Rose thanks to Scarhead Manson costing Duggan and Rose the match.

Match #4 - Rapid Rumble with winner getting an SPW Provincial Title Shot right after:

Winner: "Misfit" Mike Mission

Match #5 - SPW Provincial Title Match - "Misfit" Mike Mission vs. Reggie Gallagher - Mike Mission won the Rapid Rumble to get an SPW Provincial Title match but came up short against Reggie Gallagher as the veteran retained his Provincial Title.

Match #6 - In a Tables Match, "Extreme Luchador" La Sombra defeated AJ Sanchez

Intermission

Match #7 - SPW Hardcore Title Match - Marius vs, Chip "Hardcore Kid" Fletcher - In his final match in SPW, Chip "Hardcore Kid" Fletcher defeated Marius to become the new SPW Hardcore Champion. Among the weapons used included a kendo stick, a steel chair as well as a skateboard.

Match #8 - "Primo Latino" Gibby Guerrero pinned the "Canadian Loose Cannon" TJ Bratt with a sunset flip. After the match, Bratt proclaimed that SPW fans are the best fans in all of Manitoba.

Match #9 - SPW Heavyweight Title Match - "Really Crazy" Rob Stardom vs. Jethro Hawg - Stardom got the win over Jethro with a rollup and his feet on the ropes.

Main Event - Honky Tonk Man vs. "Beautiful" Bobby Jay - During the course of the match Marius came out to assist Bobby who wanted none of it. Marius gets shoved to the mat forcing Honky Tonk to rollup the Beautiful One for the win. After the match Marius beat up Bobby but Jay got some redemption whacking Marius in the back with the guitar.

Extra Notes: I actually thought it was the best show SPW put on last night. All the best to the crew wherever they may end up. Hopefully things are not as it seems and will know more on Tuesday Night on Tuesday Night Heat at 7:30.
