Training Center on Jarvis Ad

This is the man of local wrestling better known as the Master Blogger here with a very important message: This is an ad for anyone and everyone who is wanting to become a wrestler or require training, well there is a place you can go to. It is a little training center located at 585 Jarvis Street just off of McGregor.  This is a place you can go to train that has no politics, bs, whatever. We do not need that. The number one rule of this training center is No Politics Allowed. And: here is an added bonus: Anyone who has 10 or more years experience can train their guys for a pay per visit fee which covers the rent.

For those who do not know the prices, here they are: for one year it is $600 with $300 up front non-refundable deposit. If you need more information you can get a hold of either Madman Muir or Laurence Fozzworth III.

AOD/CWE Power Struggle: The 3rd Anniversary Show Results

Tonight, AOD/CWE presented its 3rd Anniversary show titled Power Struggle at the Polish Fraturnal Hall. Now a couple of questions needed answering. Would CWE regain control of the company or would Danny Duggan be forced to join the Alliance Of Defiance. Well, let's find out. Here are the detailed results prepared by the one and only Master Blogger.

Opening Contest: ''TLC'' Tommy Lee Curtis vs. Carter Mason - Mason attacks from behind with lefts, rights and foot stomps. A snap mare is followed by a closed fist but Mason gets a 2. TLC recovers with a sunset flip for a near fall. Carter pulls Tommy to the turnbuckle and delivers a shot to the back but gets a near fall. Next, Mason delivers shoulders but Tommy comes back with a powerbomb for a 2. Carter shoves the referee into the ropes and delivers a neckbreaker for another near fall. Carter takes a bit of a water break only to have the water spat in TLC's face but Tommy kicks out. In the end, Carter gets the win with a moonsault.

Match #2 - Tyler Colton & B. Brian Rich vs. Rick ''Pimp Daddy'' Matthews & JJ Sanchez - Matthews announces he's entering the tag team division and brings out his tag team partner: as he called him the Old Face of Country Music making his return to CWE JJ Sanchez. Matthews slaps Colton and backs Brian to the corner followed by shoulders. Brian reverses it but lands on the outside and does a crucifix into a sunset flip but gets a 2. Next, Rich takes Rick over with a headscissors forcing Pimp Daddy to call a time out Rich tags Tyler and Matthews tags in JJ. JJ delivers a chop but Tyler delivers a drop toehold, backs Sanchez to the corner but gets a near fall with a rollthrough. Tyler tags Brian and they doubleteam JJ. Rich irishwhips but Sanchez reverses it. JJ tags in Rick who slams Brian and gives him a chokehold. A suplex attempt is blocked but Rick manages to toss him to the mat for a 2. Rich manages to tag in Colton who is all fired up til JJ stops him. Rich dropkicks Tyler onto JJ for a near fall. A knee drop into a Shock Treatment is a 2. Finally, a Moneymaker from the top rope by Pimp Daddy Rick Matthews is the victory.

Match #3 - Ike Idol vs. Bubbles McFly - McFly begins the match with a nervehold followed by a corkscrew til Ike delivers a chop and a kneedrop followed by 10 punches to the side of the head. The match goes on but in the end, Bubbles gets the win. After the match, someone from the back attacked him. I suspect that was former CWF superstar Kevin Cannon but I don't know.

Match #4 - Zack ''Mile High'' Mercury & The Axe vs. The Murder City Saints (Darien Karisma & Nate Hardy) - Mercury tosses Nate to begin the match. A second attempt but Hardy lands on his feet. Hardy goes to work but misses a charge in the corner. In comes Karisma and he gets a face plant, Merc tags the big near 400 lb Axe who delivers a thrust and headbutts him twice before tagging Mile High who delivers repeated knees and goes for a cover but the count is broken up Nate til Darien recovers with a neckbreaker . In comes Axe who delivers a press slam to Darien followed by a 747 but then Merc tags himself in. This prompted Darien to tag in Nate and they double team Z-Merc followed by a double dropkick to Axe. A superbomb attempt is broken up by Axe. Mercury gets taken to the outside. Back inside, Axe delivers a slam followed by a top rope splash. In comes Mercury who gets the pin with a Cross Rhodes. After the match, Axe delivered 2 more splashes to Darien Karisma.

Match #5 - Sons Of Anarchy ''S.O.A.'' (''Big'' Cliff Corleone & ''Misfit'' Mike Mission) vs. O.T.C. Original Thug Crew (Darren ''The Bomb'' Dalton & ''Canadian Crime Spree'' Spyder) - Now this match was unsanctioned and was under hardcore rules. The match begins on the floor with Dalton whacking both men with a trash can. Spyder whacks The Misfit with a kendo stick not once but twice. Darren whacks Cliff with a keyboard. Spyder and Mission have a chairfest and then Spyder delivers a clothesline. Next Spyder uses a staple gun to the Misfit's head causing yours truly to burst out in laughter. At this point a masked man comes into the ring and attacks Spyder handcuffing him to the ropes. The masked man wraps a chain around his fist while Corleone and the masked man run Darren into the table. Outside, the masked man attacks Darren some more. At this point the referee has no choice but to throw the match out.

Match #6 - 123Approved.ca Open Rules Title Match - Moses Luke vs. Paul Arcidi - After months of hiatus, the Brickhouse made his return to CWE. Arcidi spears Moses and delivers a shoulderblock followed by a slam for the win. Winner and new 123Approved.ca Open Rules Champion: Paul Arcidi.

Match #7 - Matt Fairlane vs. Val Venis - A collar elbow tieup as Venis and Matt brawl around the ring. Val puts Matt in an armbar and takes him down and they go at it some more. Fairlane delivers a knee to the gutt followed by rights but the Big Valbowski recovers but gets a 2. Val continues with a chop and an elbow til Matt runs Val into the ringpost and goes to work on the arm followed by a chokehold. Val recovers but then both go down as a result of a double clothesline. Venis is on fire and makes a cover but gets a nearfall. Val tries a small package but Matt kicks out. Fairlane puts Val in a sleeper but Val makes it out. Fairlane delivers a hard right til Venis delivers a pump slam but misses with the Money Shot. This prompted Matt to go for a cover but only got a 2. Finally, his Fairlane Widowmaker was enough to put the former Intercontinental Champion away. After the match, Fairlane shook Venis' hand but surprisingly turned on him delivering a piledriver. Matt took the mic and told Val he doesn't care where he's been or who he's beaten. He's the biggest thing today.

Intermission

Match #8: CWE Tag Team Title Match - Team Impact (''Pissed Off Pittbull'' Robby Royce & Anderson Tyson Moore) vs. Big Sexy Beasts (Kevy Chevy & AJ Sanchez) - A collar elbow as Sanchez takes Robby down with a shoulder and Chevy slaps him in the back. Royce puts AJ in a headlock and delivers a couple of armdrags til AJ reverses them and tags in Chevy whereas Robby tags ATM. Chevy puts ATM in a headlock but Moore delivers a dropkick til Kevy chops Anderson Tyson and tags AJ who clotheslines ATM but he and Robby manage to deliver a High Tide or whatever that was called. Royce gets a 2 on AJ but then Robby delivers a dropkick and ATM bites him on the head. AJ manages to clothesline Moore but somehow ATM recovers with a dropkick and tags Robby. Fans chant Sanchez, Sanchez but it doesn't work. AJ puts the boot up on Impact. Royce goes to work on the leg til Sanchez recovers only to be tossed into the turnbuckle. Team Impact fall victim to a vicious double clothesline and tags in Chevy who is on fire and puts Royce in a T-Bone suplex and clotheslines ATM. A vicious double suplex almost implodes the ring but unfortunatly ATM gets the shoulder up. Chevy clotheslines Robby and delivers a 3D but Robby kicks out at this point the referee goes down. The match goes out of control but in the end, thanks to a second referee low blowing AJ and counting the fastest 3 count, Team Impact remain CWE tag team champions.

Main Event: CWE Heavyweight Title Match - ''Hotshot'' Danny Duggan vs. Mentallo - It was now time for the questions to be answered. Would Danny join the AOD or would CWE regain control of the company? An armbar by Danny til Mentallo puts on a headlock and takes him down with a shoulderblock. Danny puts on a wastelock til the champ hiptosses Danny. Duggan puts on a headlock til Mentallo slams him. Mentallo delivers a shoulderblock til Danny delivers an armdrag, hiptoss and a slam but then Mentallo delivers a high knee but Duggan takes him over with a hiptoss and a suplex for a 2. A jawbreaker by the champ til Danny delivers one of his own. Mentallo dropkicks Danny and follows up with a bodypress outside which is followed by Mentallo ramming Duggan into the chair. The referee starts counting til Mentallo takes Duggan down. A sunset flip by Danny is a 2. Mentallo goes for a cover but gets a 2 as well. Danny comes back with a faceplant but gets a 2. A flying bodypress is another 2. As Hotshot ascends the ropes Mentallo stops him and delivers a suplex for good measure but Danny kicks out a Side Russian Legsweep followed by a ploncha is another 2. Danny Duggan tries several moves but gets a 2 count everytime. Even a Rock Bottom couldn't put the champ down. At this point, Moses Luke tries interfering but Duggan disposes of him. Next comes ATM but he gets disposed of and so does Robby Royce. A powerbomb by Mentallo is a 2. A suplex is another 2. A second powerbomb by the champ is another near fall. Mentallo goes up top but Danny pulls the ropes. A back suplex as Danny slowly gets to his feet. Both trade punches with Danny getting the upperhand followed by a flying clothesline and another Rock Bottom for a near fall. Finally, the Cruel Summer knee drop is enough to put the champ down for 3. Winner and new CWE champion: ''Hotshot'' Danny Duggan. As per the stipulation, CWE regains control of the company from the AOD.

A Hangman's Rolling Elbow by London is perfectly executed but Nasty comes down on Leo's shoulders and goes for an arrogant cover but gets a 1. A backkick by Leo is followed by a suplex but it is blocked. Leo locks in the Labelle Lock but then that little 5 letter word that rhymes with witch Jade Pheonix distracts the referee allowing Nasty to get the win.

Match #5 : SPW Tag Team Title Match - Syko & SonOfSyko vs. Cory Diamond & ''Misfit'' Mike Mission - Diamond puts Syko's son in an armbar and tags in Mission who adds pressure followed by a headbutt and more pressure is added from Cory. This is followed by a dropkick for a near fall. A double back elbow from the champs and Mission gets a poke from Syko as well as a blow to the head followed by a headlock. The champions doubleteam Mission some more. The Misfit tries to deliver shots to the gutt of Syko but it doesn't budge the big guy. Cory tries to get the fans riled up by chanting Mission, Mission but the heel team go after Mission some more. Finally after a long beatdown the Misfit dug down and delivered his Mission Statement DDT before tagging in Cory who is all fired up after being outside too long. Cory dropkicks both Syko and his son until Syko reverses it. Next comes a double dropkick from both Mission and Diamond but in the end, the heel team remain SPW tag team champions.

Match #7 - SPW Provincial Title Match - Marius vs. Jackie ''Jett'' Lee - Marius came into this match as the new SPW Provincial Champ having beaten Jerin Rose in Selkirk I guess. I don't know the story there. Anyway, a collar elbow as the champ puts Lee in an armbar but Jackie backs Marius to the ropes. Lee puts Marius in a headlock and delivers a kick in the corner followed by a back elbow but he gets a near fall. Next, Marius pulls the rope and Jackie goes to the outside. Once back inside, Marius executes a fisherman suplex but Jackie kicks out at 2. Fans chanted Jackie, Jackie but Marius kept working on him. Marius ascended the ropes but missed an elbow. This prompted Jackie to go to work on the champ but he only got a 2. Jackie almost runs into the referee which prompted Marius to deliver a low blow and score the win with a top rope legdrop.

''Beautiful'' Bobby Jay Promo: ''Beautiful'' Bobby Jay is presented with a lifetime achievement award and doesn't know what to say except thank you. Next, the ring announcer tells him that since he is fond of the ladies, would he like to be the announcer for the next match. Bobby asks the fans to which he gets a huge yes! He accepts and we go right into the next match

Match #8 - Battle Royale for the SPW Women's Championship - Here is how this match works, a bunch of women start off once there are 2 competitors remaining, a referee is called from the back and the final 2 women go at it for the SPW women's championship.

Order of Entrance:
Mel Mascaras
Misty Mysterio
Jade Pheonix
Meagan the Maniac
Alexis Anderson
Mystik Sexton
Ann Brookstone

Order of Elimination
Mel Mascaras
Misty Mysterio
Meagan The Maniac
Jade Pheonix
Alexis Anderson

Out comes referee Doug Valentine as Ann gets taken down with a side headlock by Mystik til she ties Mystik to the tree of woe but only gets a 2. Sexton recovers with a jawbreaker but Brookstone comes back til Sexton delivers a DDT and a clothesline but only gets a 2. In the end after a reverse DDT, Sexton becomes the new Women's champion.

Following the match, Marius comes out and says ''So this is what it's come to huh?'' After spewing with each other Bobby says: ''Sticks and stones may break my bones but you are still an idiot.'' This now leads to an attack on Bobby til all the women from the back come out and Marius stops and starts spewing at the women which allowed Bobby to deliver a low blow and go to work on him but they still weren't done. To add to the embarassment, each one of the women including Jay himself gave Marius a stink face.

Match #9 - Falls Count Anywhere Match - Reggie Gallagher vs. ''Big'' Cliff Corleone (with special guest referee Billy Blaze) - Hoping to settle their differences once and for all with Billy Blaze as guest referee Cliff came into this match confident. Gallagher attacks Cliff from the opening bell til Cliff takes him down with a shoulderblock and rams his head into a fan's boot not once, not twice but three times. However, when he tried to sandwich Reggie, he ended up hitting the ringpost. This prompted Reggie to make a cover but Billy only counted 2. Next, the fight gets taken to the outside where both competitors and refere Blaze go outside of the Royal Canadian Legion. Once both competitors and referee Blaze were back inside, Corleone wobbles as Reggie goes to work on him. Gallagher goes for a count but Billy counts 2. At this point Reggie and Billy have a spat including Gallagher slapping Billy in the face. If that wasn't enough, Billy in a referee shirt brawls with Reggie. Next, James Beaver interferes in the match. At this point, Billy throws the match out and declares Cliff the winner.

Main Event: Lumberjack Match With Weapons for the SPW Heavyweight Title - Spanky vs. La Sombra - Spanky attacks the new SPW champ from the opening bell but La Sombra recovers with a spinkick and a 10 punches followed by a top rope hurricanranna til Sombra runs into a trash can lid that was handed to him by one of the lumberjacks. Spanky goes to work on Sombra using the can lid til Sombra recovers using the lid but only gets a 2. Spanky picks up the lid and whacks the champ with it but Sombra kicks out at 2. On the outside, James Beaver uses a mop and passes it to Spanky who uses it on his smaller opponent but Sombra comes back with a splash onto 2 chairs. Next, Spanky sets up Sombra on the top rope and gives him a superplex through the plywood that was ontop of the chairs but the champ still managed to kick out at 2. By now Spanky is getting frustrated and delivers the Big Spank followed by a double arm DDT but the champ still kicks out at 2. At this point a brawl breaks out on the outside between the lumberjacks. This prompts Spanky to grab a trash can lid and use it on his opponent but Sombra recovers and gets the win with a Van Terminator to the trash can.

However, Collins and Marx take the fight to the outside where both were risking being counted out. With the referee counting the Dirty One came out and held onto Collins' leg thus giving Marx the win and an advance via countout.

Post Match:  Pepito congratulated Marx even though he said he did not deserve it.

Merric delivers a chop and a high knee followed by a Dead Sea Drop but gets a 2. In the end, Merc gets the win and becomes the new C4 champion.

Post Match: Zack says this is his first time in the Ellice Theatre and hopefully his last. I come here to win titles not to please you stupid people.

Intermission

Match #6 - Damon Marx vs. Vinnie Valiant - It was now time for the semi-finals of this round robin tournament. Marx tosses Vinnie across the ring with not one but two hiptosses but Vinnie comes back with a jawbreaker and a backkick . Damon delivers blows to the back followed by a wishbone but Valiant recovers only to have Damon put him down again. Vinnie kicks out after a bodyslam. Vinnie comes back with a high risk move and a crucifix but only gets a 2. A rollup is another 2. A sunset flip was another near fall. Damon takes him down with a superkick and a spinebuster followed by a knee to the face but as Marx covers and the referee counts, Vinnie holds the ropes only to get some shattered dreams in the corner. A front-face suplex by Marx was a 2. By now, Damon was getting flustered. This allowed Valiant to deliver a twisting DDT followed by a 450 for the win.

Masked Messenger (Mess-ANGER) Promo: As Wayne Stanton calls out the Masked Messenger Omar Nicholas to say a few words, a man in Omar's cape and mask came down only to have Wayne say, let's get the Rebel Bobby Collins out here to stop this. Once Collins comes out the real Masked Messanger takes off the hat and pulls off the mask to reveal the imposter to be none other than Laurence Fozzworth III. Omar talks about how NBW was in business for 6 years and today we are closing the doors due to my health issues and my son's health issues but I want to thank everyone for all your support over the years.

Next, Dirty Dick calls a timout, allowing Walker to work over on Buddy with Muir choking him til Buddy recovers with a clothesline for a 2. Walker delivers repeated rights and a chokehold with his boot followed by a dropkick. On the outside Madman Muir choked Buddy. Inside, Dirty Dick delivered repeated headbutts. Buddy recovers but in the end, Dirty Dick gets the win.

Post-Match: Buddy tells Walker that if he and his buddy want to cost him the match to just wait I have a surprise for you Dirty Dick Walker!!

Match #8 - Reaper vs. Sharp Dressed Man - Reaper backs Sharp Dressed to the corner but SDM recovers only to get shoulders in the corner til SDM came back with a 619 followed by a splash for the win.

Main Event - ''Dirty'' Dick Walker (accompanied by Madman Muir) vs. Vinnie Valiant - After both men progressed their way through the tournament on separate occasions, it was now time for the belts to be unified. The Great Pepito was signed to be the guest referee. Dirty Dick went right to work but Valiant recovered with a bodypress and dropkick to the knee but Walker came back with a back suplex. At this point Muir distracted the referee while Dick Walker went to work on the leg. Luckily Bobby Collins chased Muir to the back. Dick goes back to the already injured leg til Vinnie turns the tables with a monkey flip but gets a 2. Walker puts Vinnie down with a clothesline but missed a top rope knee drop. This prompted Vinnie to get the win with a 450. Winner and Unified Heavyweight Champion: Vinnie Valiant.

Post-Match: Buddy Wiser came down for the celebration and gets on the mic as Vinnie places the letters FNO on the belt. Wiser says: For those of you who have not heard, we have been in talks with the greatest promotor of all Wayne Stanton. For those who do not know what FNO stand for well you guys remember FNS? Well, tonight say goodbye to FNS and hello to FNO First Nations Order.
