Yesterday afternoon, River City Wrestling presented Vinnie Valiant's World Of Wrestling at the Weetamah Gym of the Sally Ann Center on the corner of Logan and Lizzie. Let`s get to the results prepared by the Master Blogger.
Opening Contest - RCW Heavyweight Title Match - The Sharp Dressed Man w/Laurence Fozzworth III vs. Vinnie Valiant - Vinnie takes Sharp Dressed over with a headlock takeover twice followed by an armbar and then a small package but only gets a 1. Next, Valiant goes for a 6-1-9 but Sharp Dressed rolls out of the way. Vinnie grabs Fozzworth by his tie but Sharp Dressed low blows him. Back in the ring Sharp Dressed goes for a cover and gets a 2. Sharp Dressed tosses Vinnie outside where the Weazel kicks him while he`s down. Back inside, Sharp Dressed goes to work on Vinnie but Vinnie comes back with a crucifix for a 2. Sharp Dressed and Vinnie trade moves with Vinnie getting the upperhand til Sharp Dressed delivers a chokehold and a kick to the back of the head. Vinnie comes back with a slam, and finally a moonsault for the 3.
Dirty Dick Walker Promo: Walker comes out accompanied by Laurence Fozzworth and says Alright!! You people are in for a treat today!! Okay yes, you just saw Vinnie Valiant beat the Sharp Dressed Man but I have been working out and becoming the strongest arm wrestling champion. At this point he challenges any man in the audience to an arm contest and says You Billy Blaze, I challenge you to an arm wrestling contest. Blaze accepts and we go into our second match of the afternoon.
Match #2 - Arm Wrestling Contest - Dirty Dick Walker vs. Billy Blaze - Blaze wins the contest but it wasn't enough as Walker challenged him to a 2 out of 3 falls. In the second fall, Walker wins but in the third fall it turns into a fight as Dirty Dick rams Blaze's head on the table and challenges him to a match for next Saturday to which Billy accepts.
Match #3 - Damon Marx w/Laurence Fozzworth III vs. Buddy Wiser - Wiser slaps Marx and then the two engage in a popularity contest also involving the referee. Damon goes to work on Wiser with a clawhold as Fozzworth chokes him on the ropes. A kick to the leg as Damon puts more pressure on the leg with repeated knees followed by ramming the leg into the ring post. As Damon taunts the crowd, Buddy makes a comeback only to get put down again with a kick to the head. Buddy recovers with a splash in the corner turnbuckle but gets a 2. Marx comes back with a low blow and a kick to the gutt followed by 2 chops til Wiser delivers 2 chops of his own but then Damon comes back with a kick to the head. As Marx distracts the referee, the Weazel chokes Buddy using the bottom rope but Buddy comes back with a clothesline and a Rock Bottom for the win. After the match, Wiser delivered a haymaker to the Weazel.
Intermission - several people came out to sign autographs
Main Event - Tag Team Action - Damon Marx & Dirty Dick Walker w/Laurence Fozzworth III vs. "The Rebel" Bobby Collins w/Caveman Broda & Vinnie Valiant - Pepito was signed to be the special referee for this match. The match begins as all 4 men go at it as Pepito runs into the ring to be the referee. Walker nails Valiant but Vinnie comes back with kicks and tags in Bobby who nails Dirty Dick but Walker recovered and tags in Marx who goes to work on the arm. Collins comes back and tags in Valiant. Valiant delivers a kick to the knee but only gets a 2. Next in comes the Rebel and puts Damon in a chinlock and delivered repeated rights followed by a bite on the forehead. Marx and Walker doubleteam Collins as Walker hits a legdrop and an elbow on the head followed by a double back elbow and a chokehold using the knee. As Fozzworth taunts a fan, he did not see Caveman Broda come up from behind and biting him. Back inside, Walker delivers a powerslam but only gets a 2. At this point all hell breaks loose as the Dirty One chokes the Rebel using Marx's towel. Next, Collins crawls under the ring and gives Marx a low blow. This now prompted Collins to tag in Vinnie who is on fire until Marx nails him with a suplex but Vinnie comes back with a dropkick and a flying bodypress for a 2. Vinnie nails Dirty Dick with a second bodypress and again gets a 2 count. Marx & Walker doubleteam Vinnie some more but Valiant comes back with a small package for a 2. As Damon goes up top, Collins nails him with a hurricanranna followed by Vinnie's 450 Splash for the 3. After the match, Broda put Fozzworth in his famous Corkscrew finisher rendering him unconscious forcing Walker & Marx to drag him back to the dressing room.

PCW Thunderstruck Results
Last night, PCW presented Thunderstruck at the Marquee Lounge and Event Centre. Now this was their first show of 2012 as the forces of Premier Championship Wrestling and New Wrestling Nation went head to head and continued to struggle for power as the 10th Anniversary Spectacular approaches. Anyway, let's get to the results courtesy of the Master Blogger.
Opening Promo - NWN (New Wrestling Nation): As the New Wrestling Nation hits the ring, Mike Arnott take the mic out of Josh Hammerstein's hand and told him to get out of his ring and to quote Mike: his words were: ''Good riddence to that rubbish''. Next he says, so everyone wants an answer to why I sold out? Well it's plain and simple: I am sick and tired of the Kenny Omega show. Next, Will Damon says it's a new day. Not because it's the first show of 2012, it's a new year, a new era but most of all, it's a New Wrestling Nation. I came back, and I revived PCW. I created a path for talent and I took Omega's spot and then I became a fan favorite and you guys ate up everything we were running. But most of all I am dissappointed and disgusted with you Andrew Shallcross I mean yes we have had our ins and outs through the years but I thought for sure you were going to stand behind me. So basically Andrew, I took your company, I took your talent the only thing I did not take was your girlfriend. At this point we go right into our opening match of the night
Opening Contest - Gauntlet Match For The NWN/PCW Heavyweight Title - Knight's first opponent was the young Prince Fuergo. Knight delivers a haymaker and an European uppercut but the Prince recovers only to get a piledriver for victory number 1. Next, his second opponent delivered a Paylay but the Outlaw gave him a clothesline and a boot followed by a chop til his second opponent comes back but falls victim to a vicious chop but his second opponent misses a moonsault prompting the champ to get a piledriver for win number 2. Finally familiar music hit and Antonio Scorpio Jr rushed to the ring and chased every NWN member away. Scorpio takes the mic and says: ''Hey Knight, you got one more opponent: ME!! Get In Here Now!! Knight says no. Scorpio replies: ''Okay Knight at the 10 year Anniversary Show you and me for that title. Knight replies: ''So you wanna get involved Antonio Scorpio Jr? Well tonight's main event was supposed to be for the PCW tag team titles but why don't we make this a 6 man match you and the Experience vs myself and Europe United. So a 6 man match was made for later that night.
Match #2 - ''Outsider'' Billy Blaze vs. ''TNT'' Trent Nash - A collar elbow tieup as Blaze backs Trent to the buckle. A second collar elbow and Nash delivers rights and a splash in the corner. TNT delivers repeated punches but gets a poke and a chop. Trent reverses it and gives Billy a rake to the back. Blaze chokes Nash and suplexes him for good measure only to get a 2 count. Billy continues to choke but Trent comes back with a shot to the breadbasket but then Blaze comes back with a chop til Nash delivers a back bodydrop. In the end, after TNT accidentally splashed his valet, Blaze got the win.
Match #3 - NWN/PCW Junior Heavyweight Title Match - ''Social Media Superstar'' Jay Walker vs. Christopher Marxwell - Marxwell takes the mic and says: ''month after month I have not had good competition I mean Jay Walker? he then issues a challenge to Scott Justice for the 10 year anniversary show Title vs Title and I'll even put my career on the line. At this point Jay attacks Marxwell from behind til Christopher came back with a slingshot and a chop twice. Walker comes back but gets a 2. Jay delivers rights but falls victim to 10 punches. Jay recovers with a nerve hold but Chris puts on a jawbreaker. At this point, Scott Justice hits the ring and says: ''Hey Marxwell, 10 year anniversary it's a No Surrender Match. Basically it's an I Quit Match. Next Jay and Scott double team Marxwell as Jay says: Speaking of 10 year Anniversary Show: I am going to make my name and be the biggest star of this company: I am going to wrestle a former star who was here 10 years ago. I am going to wrestle The Honky Tonk Man.
Match #4 - Mike Hammer vs. Chris Marxwell - Mike Arnott says I do not like you but you got one more match and it's against Mike Hammer. As Hammer goes for a cover with Chris down, Marxwell kicks out. However, Hammer managed to get the win and become the new Junior Heavyweight Champion.
Intermission
Match #5 - Scott Justice vs. Jackie Lee - This match was somewhat long but in the end as Jackie missed a Chidori, Scott rolled him up but Jackie kicked out. Justice turned the pin into his Southern Cross submission move for the victory.
Match #6 - 6 Man Tag: Kenny Omega, Chris Stevens & Antonio Scorpio Jr. vs. New Wrestling Nation (Adam Knight, Leo London & James Beaver) - In the end, Kenny & Stevens fought Europe United to the back while inside the ring, Knight spiked Scorpio with a piledriver. Winners and new PCW Tag Team Champions: Europe United. Because of this, the NWN hold all the belts. What will happen as we go into the 10th year anniversary show spectacular in March? Stay tuned to find out.

SPW Raising The Stakes Results
Tonight, Steeltown Pro Wrestling (SPW) presented Raising The Stakes at the Royal Canadian Legion 1335 Main Street. Here are the results courtesy of the Master Blogger.
Opening Contest - 6 Man Tag: The Hooded Claw, Sydney Manson & Samuel vs. Butch Long (I think), Chip ''The Flame'' Fletcher & Jethro Hawg - A collar elbow tie up as Sydney deliers a knee and hard rights to Butch but gets a clothesline as Samuel comes in but he gets a shot by Hawg followed by a poke to the eye and an armbar as Jethro puts pressure on the arm and tags in Chip who gets a jawbreaker from Samuel and tags in Clawman who delivers a double ax to the arm followed by a clawhold til Fletcher comes back but in comes Manson who delivers a tilt a whirl clothesline but gets a 2. Chip comes back and tags in Jethro who is on fire as all 6 men go at it. Back inside, Hawg gets the win with a splash. On the way back, Samuel grabbed the Blogger's pen and threw it to the ground.
Match #2 was supposed to be an arm wrestling contest to decide who gets to face the women's champion Mystik Sexton but it was interrupted by the 400 lb German Juggernaut Moses Luke who takes out a couple divas which was totally uncalled for and asks for a mic saying he's going to show all the stupid losers in the audience why I'm gonna take that title. Sombra, I'm gonna snap your neck and put you through a table and add another title to the Moses Luke resume: The SPW Heavyweight Title.
Match #3 - JJ Sanchez vs. Jackie ''The Jett'' Lee - Sanchez shoves Jackie to the mat twice. Lee comes back with kicks to the gutt and tries a shoulderblock but Sanchez goes nowhere til he delivers forearms but gets a 1. A splash til JJ moves and delivers a suplex but gets a 2. A back suplex is another near fall. Sanchez slams Jackie but misses a moonsault. Jackie comes back with rights followed by a Chidon for a 2. Sanchez covers but gets a 2. Jackie gets the win with a flying bodypress.
Match #4 - Syko vs. Cory Diamond - A collar elbow as Cory puts Syko in an armbar followed by a headlock. Cory tries a rollup but as Syko comes crashing down he hits the mat. Another armbar as Diamond comes down til Syko delivers a poke to the eyes twice and chokes Diamond. Syko rakes the eyes as Cory tries a comeback but gets a knee for his punishment. This is followed by a clothesline and then he tosses Cory to the outside. On the outside, Syko ran Cory into the steel post. Syko tosses Diamond back inside where Cory recovers with a dropkick to the shin. A sunset flip is a 2. Next, a Shining Wizard is another near fall as Diamond goes to work on the injured leg on one half of the SPW Tag Team Champs. Cory delivers 10 punches followed by an X-Factor Face Plant but Syko kicks out at 2. An running elbow is finally enough to get the win. But after the match Syko wanted to punish Cory some more by whipping him numerous times with his black belt.
Match #5 - Return Grudge Match - Mr. Nasty w/Jade Pheonix vs. Leo London w/David London - A collar elbow tie up as Nasty puts on an armbar til Leo delivers a reversal. Nasty goes back to the arm as Leo reverses it again. Nasty puts on a sleeper with David cheering his brother on at ringside. Leo goes for the Labelle Lock til Nasty gets to the ropes and delivers a clothesline followed by a double axhandle and a backbreaker for a 2. Leo then puts Nasty in the Labelle Lock once again and again Nasty grabs the ropes. At this point Nasty goes after David which allowed Leo to deliver a kick but back inside a muscle buster by Nasty was a 2. A powerslam was a 2 as Leo put his foot on the bottom rope. Repeated kicks by London were a 2 followed by a Hangman's Rolling Elbow as Nasty kicked out again. Nasty backs Leo to the corner but then that little five letter word that rhymes with witch Jade Pheonix distracted the referee. This allowed Mr. Nasty to to throw powder in the eyes on London and get the win but then, to the fans delight the referee reversed the decision giving Leo London the win. This however, infuriated Mr. Nasty as he went right after David giving him a vicious chokeslam.
Match #6 - SPW Provincial Title Match - Marius vs. ''Misfit'' Mike Mission - Mission puts Marius in a headlock and takes him down with a shoulderblock followed by a suplex not once but twice but he only gets a 2. Marius delivers a choplock and stomps on the injured knee. Marius goes to work on the knee ramming Mission's leg into the ringpost. This is followed by a half crab. The Misfit tries to come back but cannot due to the pain. An elbow to the knee and Marius goes for a Figure-Four followed by a haymaker and an elbow on the knee. A second elbow and Mission rolls out of the way. Mike is now on fire with a backbreaker but only gets a 2. A sideslam and a suplex followed by a bulldog for a 2. A Vader Bomb is another near fall. In the end, Marius gets the win with his feet on the ropes.
Intermission
Match #7 - ''Really Crazy'' Rob Stardom vs. ''Mr. TLC'' Tommy Lee Curtis - A test of strength as TLC delivers a bridge for a 2. Stardom gets a dropkick followed by a flying bodypress to the outside by Tommy but only gets a near fall. Rob kicks Curtis but Tommy delivers a reverse atomic drop and a bodyslam followed by 2 forearms and a hurricanranna for a 2. Really Crazy chokes Curtis and delivers 2 knees til Curtis gets in an elbow for a 2. Stardom continues with a headbutt twice and a hard chop til Tommy comes back wtih chops of his own but Stardom delivers a face rake into a choke. A brainbuster and an elbow by Rob are a 2. As Stardom goes up top, TLC flings him across the ring and delivered a perfectly executed moonsault. A shoulder by TLC is a near fall. With the referee's back turned, Stardom delivered a low blow followed by a lariat and finally a headbutt for the win.
Match #8 - James Beaver & JJ Sanchez vs Sons Of Anarchy (Big Cliff Corleone & Billy Blaze) - Originally Reggie Gallagher was supposed to be in this tag match, but he had been replaced by JJ Sanchez who had competed earlier in the night and needed to get a win. Cliff slaps Beaver and goes nowhere on the shoulderblock as Cliff takes him down and sends Beaver outside and into Blaze's foot. Beaver goes for a chop but hits JJ who comes in as Cliff tags in Billy. JJ backs Billy but hits Beaver. This causes the heel team to start arguing as the SOA deliver a double back elbow, a Corleone Crunch and a Blaze Of Glory for a 2. Sanchez takes Blaze down with a clothesline. Beaver chokes Blaze with fans chanting Billy, Billy. In comes JJ who delivers an elbow. Billy recovers with a back suplex and tags Corleone who is all fired up til Beaver takes out his knee and dropkicks him for good measure. A second Blaze of Glory is a 2 count. A sky high by Big Cliff is a 2. Finally a powerbomb/neckbreaker combination is the win.
Main Event - Tables Match For The SPW Heavyweight Title: Moses Luke w/The Baroness vs. La Sombra - It was now time to see if Moses could add another title to his resume. Sombra begins with rights to the head of Moses. This is followed by a dropkick and a hurricanranna. A back elbow is followed by punches. As Sombra tries an irishwhip, Luke reverses it til Sombra takes him down. More rights by Sombra til the 400 lber takes him down. Moses backs the champ to the corner with a chop not once but twice. Fans chanted Sombra, Sombra as the German Juggernaut continued to work on the champ with a backbreaker sideslam as the Baroness reached under the ring for some kind of weapon. Meanwhile, back inside, Moses delivered a clothesline til Sombra recovered with dropkicks and a Tornado DDT onto the chair. Sombra brings in a wooden plank and sets it up onto 2 chairs. Next, he attacks Moses with the chair, this is followed by a flying bodypress to the outside. As Sombra made his way back in, Baroness came behind him with a trash can lid. Back inside, Moses whacks Sombra with the chair. Moses manages to put the champion through the plywood and goes outside to get a bigger piece of plywood and set it up in the turnbuckle but Sombra charges the German Juggernaut through it. On the ropes both men are fighting as Sombra delivers a powerbomb followed by a diving headbutt for the win. Winner and still SPW Heavyweight Champion: La Sombra.
Extra Notes: During the course of the entire show, it looked like the Weazel who was in the audience was ready to hit the ring out of the crowd. Also during the 6 man match, Samuel grabbed the Blogger's pen and threw it to the ground. Now I do not know what kind of beef Samuel has with the Master Blogger as I am just doing my job as an unbiased reporter.

Leo goes for the Labelle Lock til Nasty gets to the ropes and delivers a clothesline followed by a double axhandle and a backbreaker for a 2. Leo then puts Nasty in the Labelle Lock once again and again Nasty grabs the ropes. At this point Nasty goes after David which allowed Leo to deliver a kick but back inside a muscle buster by Nasty was a 2. A powerslam was a 2 as Leo put his foot on the bottom rope. Repeated kicks by London were a 2 followed by a Hangman's Rolling Elbow as Nasty kicked out again. Nasty backs Leo to the corner but then that little five letter word that rhymes with witch Jade Pheonix distracted the referee. This allowed Mr. Nasty to to throw powder in the eyes on London and get the win but then, to the fans delight the referee reversed the decision giving Leo London the win. This however, infuriated Mr. Nasty as he went right after David giving him a vicious chokeslam.
Match #6 - SPW Provincial Title Match - Marius vs. ''Misfit'' Mike Mission - Mission puts Marius in a headlock and takes him down with a shoulderblock followed by a suplex not once but twice but he only gets a 2. Marius delivers a choplock and stomps on the injured knee. Marius goes to work on the knee ramming Mission's leg into the ringpost. This is followed by a half crab. The Misfit tries to come back but cannot due to the pain. An elbow to the knee and Marius goes for a Figure-Four followed by a haymaker and an elbow on the knee. A second elbow and Mission rolls out of the way. Mike is now on fire with a backbreaker but only gets a 2. A sideslam and a suplex followed by a bulldog for a 2. A Vader Bomb is another near fall. In the end, Marius gets the win with his feet on the ropes.
Intermission
Match #7 - ''Really Crazy'' Rob Stardom vs. ''Mr. TLC'' Tommy Lee Curtis - A test of strength as TLC delivers a bridge for a 2. Stardom gets a dropkick followed by a flying bodypress to the outside by Tommy but only gets a near fall. Rob kicks Curtis but Tommy delivers a reverse atomic drop and a bodyslam followed by 2 forearms and a hurricanranna for a 2. Really Crazy chokes Curtis and delivers 2 knees til Curtis gets in an elbow for a 2. Stardom continues with a headbutt twice and a hard chop til Tommy comes back wtih chops of his own but Stardom delivers a face rake into a choke. A brainbuster and an elbow by Rob are a 2. As Stardom goes up top, TLC flings him across the ring and delivered a perfectly executed moonsault. A shoulder by TLC is a near fall. With the referee's back turned, Stardom delivered a low blow followed by a lariat and finally a headbutt for the win.
Match #8 - James Beaver & JJ Sanchez vs Sons Of Anarchy (Big Cliff Corleone & Billy Blaze) - Originally Reggie Gallagher was supposed to be in this tag match, but he had been replaced by JJ Sanchez who had competed earlier in the night and needed to get a win. Cliff slaps Beaver and goes nowhere on the shoulderblock as Cliff takes him down and sends Beaver outside and into Blaze's foot. Beaver goes for a chop but hits JJ who comes in as Cliff tags in Billy. JJ backs Billy but hits Beaver. This causes the heel team to start arguing as the SOA deliver a double back elbow, a Corleone Crunch and a Blaze Of Glory for a 2. Sanchez takes Blaze down with a clothesline. Beaver chokes Blaze with fans chanting Billy, Billy. In comes JJ who delivers an elbow. Billy recovers with a back suplex and tags Corleone who is all fired up til Beaver takes out his knee and dropkicks him for good measure. A second Blaze of Glory is a 2 count. A sky high by Big Cliff is a 2. Finally a powerbomb/neckbreaker combination is the win.
Main Event - Tables Match For The SPW Heavyweight Title: Moses Luke w/The Baroness vs. La Sombra - It was now time to see if Moses could add another title to his resume. Sombra begins with rights to the head of Moses. This is followed by a dropkick and a hurricanranna. A back elbow is followed by punches. As Sombra tries an irishwhip, Luke reverses it til Sombra takes him down. More rights by Sombra til the 400 lber takes him down. Moses backs the champ to the corner with a chop not once but twice. Fans chanted Sombra, Sombra as the German Juggernaut continued to work on the champ with a backbreaker sideslam as the Baroness reached under the ring for some kind of weapon. Meanwhile, back inside, Moses delivered a clothesline til Sombra recovered with dropkicks and a Tornado DDT onto the chair. Sombra brings in a wooden plank and sets it up onto 2 chairs. Next, he attacks Moses with the chair, this is followed by a flying bodypress to the outside. As Sombra made his way back in, Baroness came behind him with a trash can lid. Back inside, Moses whacks Sombra with the chair. Moses manages to put the champion through the plywood and goes outside to get a bigger piece of plywood and set it up in the turnbuckle but Sombra charges the German Juggernaut through it. On the ropes both men are fighting as Sombra delivers a powerbomb followed by a diving headbutt for the win. Winner and still SPW Heavyweight Champion: La Sombra.
Extra Notes: During the course of the entire show, it looked like the Weazel who was in the audience was ready to hit the ring out of the crowd. Also during the 6 man match, Samuel grabbed the Blogger's pen and threw it to the ground. Now I do not know what kind of beef Samuel has with the Master Blogger as I am just doing my job as an unbiased reporter.
